Peppol integration: Now live for Belgium

Peppol integration: Now live for Belgium

Belgium's new e-invoicing requirements take effect on 1 January 2026. From that date, all B2B invoices must be issued electronically through the Peppol network, which means businesses need to be set up and ready before the deadline.

We've built a Peppol integration directly into Rentman through a partnership with Billit, a certified Peppol access point, to help you meet these requirements without adding extra software or steps to your workflow.

Getting started

Step 1: Setup

Complete a one-time KYC verification in your Configuration module, look up your contacts' e-invoicing IDs (if not already filled in), and you're ready to start sending.

Step 2: Sending via Peppol

Sending invoices through the Peppol network from within Rentman works just like your current flow, with Peppol added as a delivery option alongside email.

Early access to our E-invoicing add-on, free until June 2026

As a Belgium based-customer, you’re among the first to access this Peppol integration as part of our new E-invoicing add-on, which we're building to support e-invoicing across markets. We're partnering with Billit, a certified Peppol access point, to deliver and maintain this Peppol integration, ensuring it stays compliant as regulations and technologies evolve.

Since this is new for Belgium and new for us, we're offering free access until June 2026. This gives you time to set everything up and helps us work together to make sure the integration works smoothly for your business. We'll share pricing details by May 2026.

Get started today

If you're based in Belgium with Rentman's Quoting & Invoicing add-on, you can set up and start sending through the Peppol network now. If you're on a Legacy license, you'll need to upgrade to access this feature. Reach out to your CSM or contact our support team to discuss your options.

FAQ

Is Peppol only for customers in Belgium?

Currently, yes. We're launching Peppol for Belgium first due to the January 1 2026 deadline; however, we're planning to expand Peppol support to other European markets as they adopt similar requirements.

Will other countries get Peppol integration? When?
Yes, we're planning to expand Peppol support to other European markets as requirements change. Belgium is first because of the January 1 2026 deadline, but we're already preparing for additional countries. We don't have specific timelines for other markets yet, but we'll communicate rollout plans as regulations are confirmed in other regions.
