Your clients receive a dedicated, branded online space to view their quote, not just another PDF attachment. They'll see your company logo at the top, followed by your personalized introduction text, a clear overview of total pricing, and your account manager's contact details. Any additional files you've attached, like stage designs or product imagery, are displayed as downloadable media. Clients can digitally sign to accept the quote or submit a change request, all within the same space.
This branded online space helps you stand out from competitors still sending static PDFs, creating a memorable experience.
Know when clients are engaged
Once you share your online quote, you'll see real-time insights in your project's financial tab. A view counter shows exactly how many times the quote has been opened, and a timestamp displays when it was last checked. These insights appear directly in your quote overview, so you can gauge client interest at a glance.
For example, if you see 8 views over 3 days, you know they're actively reviewing your offer, perhaps discussing internally or comparing options. If you see zero views after 48 hours, maybe it's time for a follow-up nudge. This visibility helps you follow up at exactly the right moment, before your quote gets buried in their inbox.
Make client actions easy
Your clients can take action directly from the online quote page without digging through emails. Need to share the quote with a colleague? They can simply forward the link. Want to download that stage design PDF you included? It's right there as attached media. Ready to request a change, like adding extra LED screens? They fill out a simple form with their name, email, and change request right there from the online quote.
When a client submits a change request, you'll see it immediately in your project's financial tab, organized with the quote. You'll also receive a notification so you can respond quickly. No more email chains or unclear requests, everything stays tied to the specific quote.
Keep everyone on the same quote version
When you need to update a quote after a client request, simply make your changes in Rentman and preview the new version before publishing. Once you're ready, publish the updated quote to the same link you originally shared. Your client automatically sees the latest version when they open the link, no need to send a new PDF or worry about version confusion.
Previous versions remain accessible for reference, so you and your client can track what changed over time. Just send your client a quick email letting them know the same link has been refreshed with the updated quote.

How to access online quotes
Online quotes are now available for all users with Rentman’s Quoting & Invoicing add-on. If you don’t have the add-on, you will need to upgrade your plan to access Online quotes. Feel free to reach out to your CSM or Rentman’s support team for help.
