Mission of this role

At Rentman, support isn’t about closing tickets but it’s about unblocking customers and helping them succeed with our product. We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping others, solving problems, and making things better and not just for one customer, but for all of them. As a Customer Support Specialist, you’ll be the bridge between our users and our product. You’ll help Dutch- and English-speaking customers navigate complexity, solve real operational challenges, and turn their feedback into meaningful product improvements.

What you'll do

  • Support Rentman customers move forward when they’re stuck via chat, email, and phone

  • Own problems end-to-end: from first message to final resolution

  • Become a product expert and guide customers to smarter ways of working

  • Spot patterns in customer issues and feed insights back into Product

  • Keep our systems (Zendesk, Aircall) clean and actionable 

  • Contribute to a supportive, knowledge-sharing team culture

What makes a successful Customer Support Specialist 

  • Worked in a customer-facing role for at least one year where you solved real problems

  • Fluent in Dutch and English

  • Think in solutions, not just answers

  • Stay structured even when things get busy

  • Enjoy figuring out how things work (and explaining it clearly)

  • Take ownership, you don’t drop things halfway

  • Like working with others and improving together

  • Have tech savviness / a passion for technology. Rentman is a complex tool and you need to know it inside out

  • Have a personality that fits at Rentman: takes ownership, loves working with others, is curious, and gets motivated by solving challenges as a team.

Nice to haves

  • Experience in SaaS, events, AV, or production workflows

  • Familiarity with tools like Zendesk or Jira

  • Basic technical curiosity (HTML/CSS is a plus)
