Mission of this role
As an Onboarding Trainer, you help customers successfully implement and start using Rentman by combining structured training with practical workflow guidance. You make sure customers can translate product knowledge into real, working operational setups that fit how they actually work. You're part of the Professional Services team within Customer Experience, reporting to the Professional Services Team Lead and you work closely with Customer Success and Support to ensure a smooth, consistent experience across the customer journey.
How it works
On a strategic level, you work closely with the Customer Success and Support teams for your supported languages, sharing input and contributing to strategy and tactics. On a daily, tactical level you work mostly autonomously, directly with customers, acting as their voice within the company. As an Onboarding Trainer, you advise on how Rentman can support customer workflows rather than designing their entire operational processes.
What you'll do
Deliver structured onboarding trainings, workshops, refresher sessions and deep dives for new and existing customers, as well as new employees joining Rentman
Guide customers and employees through defined learning pathways using real product scenarios and hands-on, task-based exercises
Provide practical guidance on how customers can configure Rentman to fit their operational workflows, applying best practices to their specific context
Create reusable learning materials such as training exercises, tutorial videos, webinars and walkthrough demonstrations, contributing at least one new or improved asset per month
Identify recurring onboarding challenges and share structured feedback to continuously improve training content and learning pathways
Adapt your pacing and explanations to different audience maturity levels while maintaining a standardized curriculum
Escalate cases where customer needs go beyond training scope, working closely with the wider Customer Experience team

Experience creating structured learning materials such as exercises, tutorial videos, webinars or walkthroughs
Ability to spot recurring friction points in onboarding and turn them into concrete improvements
A personality that fits Rentman: takes ownership, loves working with others, is curious and gets motivated by solving challenges as a team
Nice to haves
Background in the AV rental, broadcasting or event industry
Familiarity with learning management systems or content authoring tools
Experience with platforms like Zendesk or Jira (or similar systems)
