Mission of this role

As a Fullstack Integration Developer, you make sure that scanners, Zebra devices, the RFID gate and all related hardware work reliably and seamlessly with Geartracking and Rentman. You own and build the middleware that connects devices to our cloud APIs and apps, keeping things stable, fast and maintainable with minimal support overhead.

In this role you are the main technical point of contact for everything hardware-related. You work closely with the Rentman product and development teams, escalate blockers quickly and make sure knowledge is documented and never dependent on a single person. You work largely independently, making your own technical decisions and owning the end-to-end integration flow.

What you'll do

  • Design, build and maintain the middleware that connects scanners, RFID gates, mobile devices and cloud APIs

  • Develop and continuously improve the end-to-end hardware-to-cloud integration flow for our RFID gate

  • Develop and extend integrations for new hardware and products as we grow

  • Debug scanner, RFID or middleware issues and resolve them within 48 hours

  • Monitor stability and performance of integrations and proactively address weak spots before they become problems

  • Lead technical decisions and internal workflows related to hardware and middleware

  • Act as the main technical contact for Rentman and escalate blockers quickly

  • Document middleware architecture, integrations and setup so knowledge is shared and accessible
