The challenge

Peitsman faced a daunting task: managing 3,000 items across three warehouses with no efficient system in place.

Because they lacked one single source of truth, the company faced a lot of unexpected surprises. From lost equipment to gear that isn’t available for an event, Peitsman employees would spend hours on the phone updating crew, coordinating items from one warehouse to another, and organizing sub-rentals

It was, in essence, a logistical nightmare.

 

Solution

Peitsman needed a solution that would give them one central overview of their entire team and equipment. That’s why they chose to implement Rentman’s all-in-one rental business management suite.

Our full suite of features gives Peitsman a 360-degree overview of their business. From seeing an item’s availability to sending out quotes, and sharing packing lists with the warehouse crew while waving goodbye to double bookings. Fewer items are lost and their vans are loaded accurately before all their events.

Peitsman’s favorite feature? Managing multiple warehouses which enables them to manage thousands of items across several stock locations seamlessly from one central point.

 

Results

One central overview for more than 3,000 items has reduced the number of lost items and double bookings for Peitsman. Using Rentman, they’ve achieved:

  • The company is scanning and tracking more equipment each quarter. Between Q3 2022 and Q1 2024, Peitsman achieved a 126% increase in the number of equipment pieces scanned. Meaning they have been able to scale their operations using Rentman.
  • Peitsman doesn’t have all their equipment in-house. Using Rentman’s sub-rental feature, they’ve increased their sub-rental bookings by 562% since Q4 2020. Ensuring they are always ready for any event.

In addition, planning events has become a lot easier as the team now coordinates and communicates via one central point: Rentman’s software. The team is more unified than before, meaning Peitsman is more productive and more efficient than before.
