Rentman riceve $22 milioni da Expedition Growth Capital

Rentman, a global software company providing SaaS solutions for the events and media production industry, today announced a $22 million (€20 million) growth equity investment from Expedition Growth Capital, a leading equity firm in London, United Kingdom. The investment from Expedition Growth Capital, Rentman’s first external capital since inception, will accelerate new customer-oriented investments, strategic acquisitions, and Rentman’s platform development roadmap.

Rentman empowers companies and teams that make events happen with cloud-based software to efficiently manage their most critical resources: their gear and their crew. Over the last year, more than one million projects were delivered using Rentman’s platform, from corporate live-streaming broadcasts and wedding celebrations to the world’s biggest music festivals and blockbuster film productions. While it started as being part of the top European software companies, Rentman now serves over 250,000 users across more than 100 countries, with its software platform.

Rentman was founded by CEO Roy van den Broek, who previously owned and operated an audio-visual equipment rental company and experienced the pain of legacy software firsthand. Rentman launched to the market in 2015 as the first SaaS solution to address the complex needs of the industry with equipment and crew management combined. The platform was created based on industry needs for the industry, considering Roy van den Broek's direct experience and knowledge.

Since 2015, a series of new features have been released that established Rentman as an industry leader. Integrated RFID functionality was recently added to the platform. It allows customers to scan and process hundreds of items in seconds without the need to physically scan every individual item.

Besides this, a new stand-alone Crew Management feature also expanded Rentman's platform capabilities. Crew Management was specifically created to reduce the chaos of managing complex teams. With this feature, customers get everything they need to manage their crew and stay on top of business operations in one centralized view. This is the start of a series of updates that will support businesses to better manage their crew side of the business.
