About the role
As Team Lead Customer Content & Community, you’ll lead the team responsible for our help center, customer education materials, and user community. You’ll define the strategy, manage execution, and collaborate with teams across Rentman to ensure our users can help themselves, find answers quickly, and connect with each other. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance strategy with execution—making sure our content is relevant, clear, and scalable, and that our community is a place where users engage, share knowledge, and grow together.
What you’ll do
- Lead and develop a team of content specialists and community managers
- Build and execute a global strategy for support content and community engagement
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of help articles, tutorials, in-app content, and release notes
- Launch and grow Rentmans customer community platform (forums, webinars, online groups)
- Ensure every product update is supported with timely, effective content
- Define and track key KPIs, such as article satisfaction, support deflection, and community engagement
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Support to align on messaging and priorities
- Share community insights and content performance data to improve customer experience and product decisions

What makes a successful Team Lead Customer Content & Community
- 5+ years of experience in customer content, education, or community management (preferably in SaaS)
- 5+ years of team leadership experience
- Experience with tools like Zendesk, Intercom, CMS platforms, and community software (e.g. Circle, Discourse)
- Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Data-driven mindset: you make decisions based on results, not assumptions
- Fluent in English (Dutch or other EU languages are a plus)
